Never letting go of Hope
Step into my shoes and walk the life I'm living and if you get as far as I am... just maybe you will see how strong i really am. My StoryMy Story
Hi, my name is Caden and I am writing my story at age 7, through the heart and fingers of my mom.
I was born with low muscle tone and when I was 6 months old I could not sit by myself. After months of physical and occupational therapy I eventually learnt to do basic things, for example something as simple as a reflex action. This comes automatically to many normal developing children/babies and which is something many take for granted. I eventually learnt to walk at about 2 years of age, even though my parents were advised that this would not be a possibility. A daunting thought, but my parents pushed on and believed in me.
Our Goals

Our School
Due to amazing growth, a waiting list and fantastic opportunity, we are at new, bigger premises!

Our School
In 2015 and along with 2 other parents with children in similar positions and SNAP (Special Needs Adapted Program), we opened a school for children with special needs in the southern suburbs. On 23 January 2015, SNAP South in association with Caden’s Foundation of Hope NPC opened their doors to 6 learners, one teacher and a teaching assistant at rented premises in Tokai.
Since then, in July 2015, the school has moved to Kirstenhof as bigger premises were needed due to the demand. 2 extra learners and an extra teaching assistant has joined us in August 2015. The Foundation also provides financial aid to assist some of the children who are not able to afford the full fees and also assists children at other Special Needs institutions in the community. October 2017 saw the school move into new, larger premises!

When teacher told me we were working with nuts and bolts yesterday to help with fine motor skills … I was over the moon. They are my favorite!!! Look at that concentration!!!😁🚐 #littlemechanic #loveworkingoncars
